Dreamline Diet
The Dreamline diet is a menuplan for each day. The plan consists of a list of compulsory nutrients per day. The diet has four areas.
It is important that you use the compulsory nutrients in your meals.
- Area 1: Grainproducts, bread and pasta
- Area 2: Fruit and vegetables
- Area 3: Meat, fish, cheese, eggs and substitutes
- Area 4: Oils and fat (e.g. butter)
A meal is complete when every area is used. You also have to eat/drink the following every day:
- 500 ml skimmed milk, butter milk or low-fat yoghurt.
- 3 pieces of fruit (or juice).
- 1 spoonfull of butter, margarine, mayonnaise, oil or fat.
- 120 gr vegetables: artichokes, aubergines, bamboo shoots, beets, courgettes, peas, ginger, pods, rhubarb, scorzonera, sprouts, green beans, onions, shallots, fennel, carrot.
- Donot take more than 3 eggs a week.
- Drink 1.5 litres a day.
- Choose lean meats and low-fat dairy products.
Dayscheme for the Dreamline diet:
Breakfast:
Start the day with one piece of fruit or 100 ml fruit juice.
Half an hour later you eat one slice of full wheat bread or two full wheat crackers with one of the following:
- 1 egg
- 20 gram meat products or vegetarian substitute
- 10 gram peanutbutter
- 15 gram cheese
- 50 gram Hüttenkäse
- 50 gram low-fat cottage cheese
- Use low-fat margerine
- Instead of the above, you can also eat 30 grams of cereals (bambix, cornflakes, muesli, semolina, porridge…) with skimmed milk/yoghurt or buttermilk.
Lunch:
2 slices of brown bread (or one slice of brown bread and two full wheat knäckebröd)
- 2 eggs
- 35 gram lean meat products
- 80 gram fish
- 15 gram peanutbutter - 30 gram cheese
- 100 gram Hüttenkäse
- 1000 gram low-fat cottage cheese
- Use low-fat margarine.
Dinner:
Combine 120 grams of the above listed vegetables with unlimited other vegetables and100 gram potatoes or rice or full wheat pasta and 100 gram of fish, game or poultry.
Examples of other vegetables: alfalfa, endive, asparagus, gherkin, cauliflower, broccoli, turnip, celery, cucumber, cabbage, mushrooms, pepper, leek, lettuce (only iceberg), green beans, bean sprouts, tomatoes, chicory, sauerkraut.
