5 Days Diet
The 5 days diet is also called the hospital-diet.
The diet is a menuplan for five days. Breakfast is the same every day but lunch and dinner are different.
You can eat what you like in the weekend. You can drink unlimited coffee or tea, without milk or sugar, and mineral water.
The diet consists of the following meals:
Every morning:
- 1 Orange or grapefruit
- 1 Dutch rusk or toast
- Coffee or tea without milk or sugar
Monday afternoon:
- 1 Orange or grapefruit
- 1 Egg
- 2 Cups of yoghurt
- 2 Dutch rusk or toast
Monday evening:
- 2 Tomatoes
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Cup of yoghurt
- 2 Dutch rusk or toast
- Half a head of lettuce with some oil, vinager and salt
Tuesday afternoon:
- 1 Orange or grapefruit
- 1 Egg
- 2 Cups of yoghurt
- 2 Dutch rusk or toast
Tuesday evening:
- 1 Orange or grapefruit
- 1 Tomato
- 1 Cup of yoghurt
- 1 Dutch rusk or toast
- 1 Steak tartar (grilled if you like)
Wednesday afternoon:
- 1 Orange or grapefruit
- 1 Egg
- 2 Cups of yoghurt
- 2 Rusk or toast
Wednesday evening:
- 1 Orange or grapefruit
- 125 gram grilled steak
- 1 Cup of yoghurt
- 1 Rusk or toast
Thursday afternoon:
- 125 gram cottage cheese
- 1 Tomato
- 1 Pickled gherkin
- 1 Rusk or toast
Thursday evening:
- 1 Apple
- 2 Tomatoes
- 1 (Grilled) Steak tartar
- 1 Rusk or toast
Friday afternoon:
- 200 gram of any kind of fish
- 1 Tomato
- 1 Rusk or toast
Friday evening:
- 1 Egg
- 1 Tomato
- Half head of lettuce (with some oil, vinegar and salt)
Tip for the 5 days diet:
You will keep your weight by eating the following every Monday:
Morning: 1 Glass of water and a lemon.
Afternoon: 1 Apple, 1 rusk or toast.
Evening: Half a head of lettuce, 1 egg and 1 tomato.
Critic:
The choice of food is limited. Besides that, the diet stimulates the jojo-effect because very little is eaten for five days and it is tempting to ‘catch up’ during the next days.
