A cup of whole grain cereal, with some fruits like apple or banana and a glass of low fat milk makes a perfect breakfast.
Avoid late night munchies:
Fix a time to eat your dinner and close your kitchen, deciding you will stop eating after that. There should be a gap of minimum 4 hours between your dinner and going to sleep. Because eating food and going to sleep will slow down your digestion and your body will absorb more calories making you gain weight.
Choice of liquids:

Consume whole grains:
Instead of eating refined grains, go for whole grains, because they contain a lot of fiber, and quite filling, making you eat less.
Avoid eating out:
Restaurants and fast food outlets are places where food is full of calories. So avoid visiting such places. Also before going out for a party, eat a healthy snack, so that you will not feel very hungry and you will eat less.
