Exercise Melts Body Fat
Everybody wants to know how to reduce body fat? Well! The answer is very simple. Instead of reducing your food consumption, increase your exercise. There is a relation between physical activity and fat. The more you exercise, the more fat you tend to lose. Studies have proved that people with less physical activity have more body fat.
Increase your physical activity to lose weight:
One thing is very important. Losing weight can only be achieved if you increase your physical activities. Start making simple changes in your daily routine to increase your physical activity. Do you always use the elevator? Try climbing up the stairs. If your office is close by, or if you are going to the nearby store, take a walk instead of driving down. Alternatively stop your car about 15 minutes away from your office and walk the balance distance.
Avoid using your TV remote, and walk up to the TV every time you want to change your channel or adjust the volume. Do not remain idle or lie down often, do some activity which keeps you moving. Try to do something exciting or interesting every time you feel bored. Such simple changes in your lifestyle, helps you to burn more calories and reduce weight. People don’t understand the value of exercise. Every step you take is a successful step towards weight loss.
Understand the facts of weight loss:
Thousands of people in America spend a lot of money on diet programs and products in a year. Although some people have been successful in losing weight, they have been unsuccessful in maintaining it. After a few years you will see that they have all regained the weight they have lost.
This can be due to two reasons; either they have lost interest half way through their dieting program and stopped it, which makes them regain all the weight they have lost. Or they don’t know the true facts of losing weight and maintaining it. Obesity increases the risk of heart diseases, cholesterol, diabetes, cancer and even early death. If you overeat, the excess calories are stored in your body as saturated fat.
Dieting does not reduce fat:
Dieting alone is not enough for weight loss. Exercising is also important. When you lose weight while dieting, it is mainly loss of water and muscles. If you want to reduce fat from your body, you have to increase the metabolism in your body. Exercising helps you to increase body metabolism, which makes the body burn more calories for energy. So consistent exercising is necessary to reduce fat storage in your body.
Walking is said to be the key of exercising.
Walking increases your metabolism, reduces your body weight, improves the functions of your heart, strengthens your bones and muscles and reduces stress and anxiety. But don’t start rigorously walking without any preparation. Start slowly. Rigorous walking will cause injury to your muscles. Start with 10 minutes of walking and slowly increase your pace. You don’t have to walk for long hours. Just 30 minutes of high intensity walking will help you to lose weight.
Dieting and exercise are inter-related. Dieting without exercise or exercising without proper diet will not prove beneficial.
