An exercise program involves two types of exercise; aerobic and anaerobic or resistant training.
Aerobic exercises:
Aerobic exercises increase your heart rate, through the working of the muscles in your body. These exercises increase the metabolism, which burns the excess fat in your body. Aerobic exercises also increase the oxygen consumption by the body. Outdoor aerobic exercises include running, jogging, and swimming. These exercises do not involve any expense. About 30 minutes of aerobic training everyday increases your metabolism, improves your blood circulation, increases the amount of oxygen and improves the functioning of your heart.
Do you know that 30 minutes of jogging can reduce 300 calories? Indoor exercises are treadmill, stationary bicycle, rowing machine etc. Aerobic exercises are done to increase your heart rate and keep it elevated for sometime. This increases your metabolism and helps your body to burn more calories.
Anaerobic exercises:
These are strength training exercises which strengthen your bones and joints and increase your muscle mass. These exercises increase your calorie burning capacity, and also prevent osteoporosis at an older age. You don’t have to spend a huge amount of money to purchase new and latest equipments. Go through the classified ads of the newspaper and you can find advertisements offering regarding second hand exercise equipment for sale in your area. You can get them cheaply.
Exercises should be done everyday, and if possible in the morning. Why do you want to spend money on weight loss pills and health clubs, when you can achieve your goal with less expense- by exercising!!!
