What is self-esteem? Self-esteem is valuable asset of an individual conscious being as well as having great self-esteem would propel him/her in being victorious in world. When people have no self-esteem, they habitually feel worthless and hopeless. Thus, such behavior would lead them towards personality disorders as well as destructive behavior.

Hence, building great self-esteem is very crucial in every person, especially at the time of childhood because it is a time when foundation is put within an individual to be a better adult in future.   • Self assertiveness: Stand up and be authentic and assertive for yourself. Live in the reality and never try to be untrue or fake to yourself.
  • Live purposefully: Live your life with some purpose, identify your aim of the life and go ahead for them. Keep in mind what are your requirements in order to achieve your targets.
  • Personal integrity: Live by truths of your own, speak truth and stay with it. Be fair with you and others also.

  • Make list of things you are excellent at. Keep journal of such things.
  • Love your looks, no matters how beautiful the looks are.
  • Complement yourself everyday. Look in mirror and tell it to yourself that you are the best.
  • Remember that you cannot change things in reverse around you. So, be cool and accept them with big heart.
  • Stop yourself whenever negative thoughts strike at your mind.
  • And in last but not least, self-esteem is something without which no one would be successful in life. So, realize your weakness and try to improve them.
