Eating patterns, what are the right and wrong ways?

With the world that we live in today so much information about everything has been present with just one single click. If you wanted to know things or facts about dieting or about weight loss with the help of the internet you can have it as quick as a lightning. Searching the internet can bring you to a whole new world of information. You can see and view different things about dieting like instructional videos, audio presentations, e books and most of all diet plans.

There are many available diet plans in the internet; accordingly they can be all effective on losing weight. There are high fiber diet plans, high calcium low fat diet, high fiber high grain diet and the likes; they can be effective as long as we are following them coupled with exercise. But what if you miss out a day on your diet? Are cheating days effective? What would you do if you miss out one? What if you miss a day or two?

Right and wrong diets…

There is no right or wrong diet even right or wrong eating patterns, they are all effective as long as they are healthy diets. What comes into us as a problem is our never ending excuses of attitudes. When we miss out one single day on our diet we would say “that’s not a big deal I’ll start next week” or, “I missed out my diet, it would be effective anyway so better stop it”.

These all or nothing attitude is the number one killer on all diet plans, we tend to create an excuse to make ourselves guilt free on eating what we want. Remember that if we don’t begin today and make everything for tomorrow we would accomplish nothing but broken promises. So what if you miss out one single day on your diet? What is you missed out going to the gym 3 times? It doesn’t matter anyway as long as you are doing what is right and avoiding what is wrong.

Good and bad foods… what are they?

Most of the time we classify foods as good food and bad food, fruits and vegetables serve in raw setting are good food while vegetables with much dressings are bad food. We often classify fried chicken as bad food due to high in oil and cholesterol while boiled chicken with no seasoning a good food. These classifications are actually not true and very subjective in nature.

If you would follow the good and the bad food upon dieting it would only increase your cravings and suppress yourself more. The more suppression you experience the more tempting you are to eat these foods that you crave most. Why not try to eat these bad foods and satisfy your cravings. The secret to these is to let your mind eat these foods but you have to maintain and control foods in portion.

You may eat whatever you want but remember to eat in moderation. Dieting shouldn’t be killing you to death, it means balancing to achieve a healthy mind and body.
