We have to admit that over eating is the number one suspect when it comes to losing weight problems and obesity, coupled with lack of exercise and sedentary lifestyle. “It is so good to eat, it feels us good and takes away all the worries and stress that we had”. Most common line of people with overeating problems, you would always hear them saying it over and over again.
Most of us overeat in many varied reasons, some uses this as a defense mechanism to problems, some are used to it and others don’t have the control to stop overeating. 1.Water – always drink plenty of water and not water with sugar drinks. Soft drinks, juices and sweetened beverages are not welcome to this group. They contain high amount of sugar that can add up to those unburned fats that we have in our body. Remember that to quench your thirst drink water alone and stay out with sweetened beverages.
2.Portion your food – don’t eat when you are so hungry. It is always advisable to eat six small meals a day than three big meals. If you are hungry then you can drink a glass of water first or eat a fruit before eating your meal. This way you can avoid overeating just because you are so hungry.
3.Eat more healthy foods – instead eating cakes for dessert why not try a ripe orange or sweet apple? It can answer your sweet tooth but eating a more healthy type of food rather than gooey desserts. With eating fruits and vegetables you are not only aiding yourself to lose weight but also you are getting a lot more minerals and nutrients.
4.Have different types of food on your meal – complete the food group namely carbohydrates, protein, fiber and the like. Make sure that all of the dishes are presented in a healthy way. Instead of frying foods try to boil them. Seasoning should always be used with extra precaution, they can bring a lot of taste but they can also bring a lot of weight.
