Just Restrict Calories?

You Must Exercise!

For effective weight loss, it’s also important to exercise but here too some good decisions need to be made. Trying to overdo it won’t help at all, but not challenging yourself will mean not losing weight. It’s good to choose activities and exercises that are challenging but manageable.

You can also be more physically active if you choose activities that get you up and moving but which you might not think of as being exercise. You can:

This is good for effective weight loss because if you enjoy the activity, you’ll be more likely to stick with it for a long time.

Whatever choices you make when it comes to shedding pounds, it’s good to remember that you’ll need to live with those choices for life. If you do this then you’ll make choices that will help you to stick with them forever. Just doing a few things for a short time to lose weight is not a means for effective weight loss.

But if you find things that you enjoy doing that keep you active, you’ll engage in this activity more often. If you fill up on protein and fiber you’ll be less likely to give in to temptation and overindulge in treats and snacks. And if you learn these good habits and appreciate how they affect you, you’ll see that you can actually lose weight and keep it off for good!
