It can be a little bit frustrating when you are trying to lose weight for months and still no signs of progress are occurring. There are some reasons to that. This maybe because you are doing things that are not even necessary at all or it could be simply because you are just doing the wrong thing. So it is important that before even starting an exercise routine or a diet plan you should be aware of the things especially the mistakes that you could be making. Being mentally aware of this will definitely help you lose weight without. So here are the top 5 weigh loss mistakes that you should avoid.

Eating diet and processed foods

Even if you eat a lot when the food you take in are natural and organic then you should stop worrying. But when you find yourself eating more of the fast food and other foods that contain a lot of MSG, transfat and artificial sweeteners then there’s no hope to losing weight. These foods actually mess up with your body’s biochemistry making it difficult to lose weight. Aside from that, when you eat more of these type of foods eventually it will make you unhealthy and sick. So go for fruits and vegetables and you can never go wrong.

Fast track eating

You are probably the type of person who got used to eating over 15 minutes break in the office because you are pressed with time. Eating at a very fast pace would inhibit your stomach to signal your brain that you are already full. In turn, you eat more than what you really need- unknowingly. Also, if you do not take time in chewing your food and swallowing the tendency is that your stomach will have a hard time digesting it leaving more unwanted fats unprocessed. So try eating slowly. Instead of treating your meals as a to-go, do otherwise. Take time in chewing and swallowing and every time you do put the fork down and sip a little water. If you are also eating with someone, it is also advisable that you engage in a conversation to prolong the time of eating.

Starving

Starving yourself too soon will lead your body to conserve the calories inside instead of burning them. Also the body is forced to break down tissues of the muscle that are vital in metabolism. So when you do this your metabolism rate slows down increasing body fat. Try eliminating junk foods one at a time in your daily square. Remember you still need to take at least 1,600 calories per day and this shouldn’t be ignored.

Avoiding Water

When you exercise your best bud should be the water. Hydrate yourself because it is necessary in all bodily functions. If there is anything you should take in big amounts it should be nothing else but water.

Lack of Sleep

You may think sleeping more can get you fatter but it is the other way around. When you lack sleep your insulin and glucose level rises up and will boost up storage of fat inside the body. So stick to the 7-8 hours of sleep a day and not only will you help yourself get rid of fats but you can have a better feel the morning after.
