There are a lot of different foods out there. Now a lot of people are talking about super foods. But what is a super food and what can it do for you?
Define “Super Food”.
Super foods are those that are nutritionally sound. Many studies have shown that these foods have a lot of things to offer people. It includes lower cholesterol, reduced risk of heart disease, reduces cancer risk, and some are even known to put you in a better mood!
Weight Loss and Super Foods.
Not all super foods have anything to do with weight loss, however there is a large list of super foods that help can help with your weight loss goals. Each super food helps out in a different way. Some are good for reducing your appetite, some help you burn more calories, others help keep your blood sugar levels even.
Using Super Foods.
Super foods are good for you and they are regular food items. You aren’t supposed to use these foods for as a diet. Instead you should add these foods to your diet regularly. Don’t worry, you probably already long for many of these foods.

Because super foods have so many advantages it is a fair question to ask what foods are on the list. There are more then 25 foods, but here are a few and what they can do for you.
Steak- Lean cuts of steak can actually help you lose weight. It is good for filling you up, contains fatty acids that can help you lose weight, and it also helps you build muscle while you burn fat.
Eggs- If you eat eggs, including the yolks, they will keep you full. Studies show that people who have eggs with breakfast will eat fewer calories throughout the day.
Apples- Apples are high in fiber and help fill you up. Additionally they have antioxidants that may help fight metabolic syndrome.
Kale- This green leafy vegetable is low in calories, high in fiber, and has a lot of great nutrients. It will also keep you fuller then other lettuces.
Oats- Slow digestion makes these a carbohydrate that helps keep your blood sugar levels even and that keeps your cravings down. They also keep you full longer.
Adding Them To Your Diet.
This is just a start to the foods that can help you with your weight loss goals. You can add them to your breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. Just make sure that you remember moderation.

It should be noted that these foods can help you lose weight. They won’t do it for you though. You will still need to eat a healthy diet and exercise.
Super foods aren’t a miracle fix to your weight problem. However, they can make a difference and you will probably enjoy eating them anyway. Steak anyone? Just add them here and there and they will help you feel fuller and are great as part of a well balanced diet.
