Eating patterns are different from person to person; some people wanted to start their meal with sweets rather than appetizers and some wanted their meal fresh rather than warmed up. It really depends to a person whether what type, kind and pattern he wants to eat. But what we didn’t know is that obese and weight problematic people have one common eating pattern. This eating pattern that they posses leads them to being overweight and fat as they eat more and more foods each meals.
What I am saying is that these people always eat more than the usual, they eat more than what needs to be consumed. Overeating and or unhealthy eating is the number cause why most people fail on diet programs; they don’t know how to control their selves when we talk about foods.

1.Chew slower – the faster we eat the more food we are consuming. This happens very much during lunch breaks, road trips or even at home just before we go to bed. If we are hurried when we are eat then it is less likely that we are practicing portion control over foods because we cannot see them until we are so full and feel so bloated.
2.Colors of your appetite – did you know that colors gives an attitude towards eating? Eating on bright colored plates may actually influence you to eat more while eating on darker plates may subside your appetite. The same goes with the walls of your kitchen or dining area, the brighter it is the more likely you would eat more.
3.Stress before eating – stress can actually pull you to eat more. When our body is stressed, most of us deal with food as a de-stressing item. Why not try to de-stress yourself with other things before hitting up a meal.
4.Drink water before meals – drinking water before eating can actually suppress our hunger and as a result we eat less than what we perceive. Stay out on sodas and let water help you feel full before eating.
5.Clear the area – once you are done eating make sure that you leave the area and go somewhere else. Staying on the dining table or talking to a friend with foods in front of you tends you to pick up some more foods or eat others leftovers.
6.Multitasking is not allowed – don’t watch tv or read magazines while eating. This tends you to forget the amount of food you are eating because you are focused on something else.
7.Keep eating on the dining area – it is always not advisable that you bring your food with you in bed or somewhere else because it tends to associate these areas with food.
8.Downsize your dishes – eating on smaller plates are proven effective to help loosen out some overeating attitude problems. If you try to eat on big plates, what you do is to stuff your plate until it looks full, while doing this on smaller plates gives you the illusion of a big full plate.
9.Soups and salads – it is always wise that you start your meal with soups or salads to help satisfy hunger before the main meal.
10.Keep it one by one – don’t put everything in front of you all at once for you may be forced to finish it all up!
