Dealing with food pushers… how to do it correctly!

Let us say that you are out on a party with a friend as the hostess, and then suddenly she comes out with a big huge black forest cake. Are you familiar with the lines, “come on, one slice doesn’t hurt your diet” or “you would totally love this, take a piece with you” or maybe “this is a very rare recipe, you should take some more”. We are all familiar with these lines right? They are the food pushers in our lives. They try to take a very good treat out of them to feed us high caloric meals. If we are not on a diet then this is a no problem case. But what if we are?

These food pushers comes from everywhere, especially from parties or get-togethers. They can be our own mom, auntie, uncle, friend, best friend, host of the party or cook and even caterer. They are the one pushing us hard to eat these high caloric foods that they have tried or commonly they have prepared for. But how do we deal with these people? How can we act on them correctly? What can we do in order not to offend them?

Always assume that you would encounter these people over and over again and all you have to do is to deal with them very smartly.
