Sadly fraud is everywhere. And it has literally invaded all sorts of businesses and now even to diet plans. Knowing that weight loss has been an ongoing issue for years now and people are willing to spend for diet, this has been taken advantage of by scammers. Nowadays we need to be really vigilant on whatever things we buy and take. So here are some of the diet scams that you must be aware and avoid of.

Diet Patches

Read on: Simply stick this to the undesirable areas of your body where fat has lodged excessively and overtime the fats will burn off. Sounds too good to be true huh? There is no really evidence that these patches are effective and it does not even guarantee that the chemicals ever do penetrate on your skin.

Weight loss jewelry

It promises to pump mineral elements to your full body and also re channels your body energy. It can be a bracelet or a ring or whatsoever. Bottom line is that this is truly unbelievable. This never works if you do not ditch your bad eating habits and is still a couch potato.

Carbs and fat blocking pills

These pills promise to block carbs and fat on your body so even if you munch over an oversized Mcdonald’s burger you need not worry. It blocks fat by giving you chronic diarrhea, severe gas, stomach cramps and even a very oily discharge. Really, it disrupts your body’s normal harmony plus it has never ever been proven to actually give substantial weight loss. Trust me you would rather save that money up for a new gadget than buying these kinds of diet pills.

Stackers

Stackers is usually a combination of 3 formulas namely aspirin, ephedra and caffeine which boosts metabolism and eventually lose weight. This was formerly thought to increase the circulation of nonepinephrine, boost metabolism and increase thermogenesis that aids in weight loss. However overtime it has been known to have side effects like constant dizziness, headaches, palipitations and even jitters. Eventually this has been taken off the seat of the dieter’s world.

Body Wraps

For people who work out, they usually wants to maximize it and it would even include wearing body wraps that they think would aid in making weight loss even faster. Reality is that the only that is really being maximized here is the loss of fluid inside the body. Sadly if fluid is taken in a little water goes back to the body, you are really back to the first square.

Insoles and super slippers

Maybe it’s the gravity or the acupressure that plays a great role here and there are numerous of this that are out in the market which all claims to aiding weight loss. But this has never ever been proven to lose weight. Not even an inch. Maybe it will just save you from blisters.

There are still so many diet scams out there and as people become desperate about weight loss even more diet scams will be created. So save yourself from being fooled. Be wise and never believe unless facts are laid on the table. Always make better and wiser choices.
