How to cut back fat from cooking?

Cooking is indeed a very passionate way of life and so is eating. But with the world that we live in today we can see many foods or dishes that aren’t so healthy for us. These dishes would just give us some extra pounds when we eat them, nevertheless they are really mouthwatering. Can you imagine eating food that is so tasty and delicious but then full of calories and bad fats on it, can you handle them? They say that for our foods to be tasty and delicious it is necessary to add some fats on it to make it yummy.

But what if you are dieting? How can you manage to eat these foods? Are you going to avoid them and stick to your old fashioned bland meals? How can you add flavors to your food but not sacrifice the quality of it?

Making diet meals are really challenging, we cannot prevent to use some things that are not good on our health such as oils and fats to make our foods tastier. But happily on the other side, there are ways in which you can cut back fat from what you are cooking and be healthier. This thing is the one closest to reality making a delicious meal that is zero fat on it is somewhat impossible, nevertheless it is bland.

How to cook with less fat…

1.For frying purposes our sautéing dishes use non stick pan for great oil free cooking. But if you cannot avoid it use non stick cooking spray instead of butters or margarines. You can also use canola oil or olive oil which serves the same purpose but lesser fat.

2.If you wanted to use meat, make sure that it is extra lean meat and for chicken make sure you take chicken breast with skin off.

3.Also another good advice is for you to trim off excess and visible fats from your meats before cooking them.

4.Grilling, boiling, baking, braising, steaming, poaching and microwaving foods are your best options to save you from using fatty oils.

5.If you fry foods, before serving it make sure that you drain all the fats or oils well and use kitchen paper to blot oil out from it.

6.When making burgers, instead of using meat content why not try to substitute it with vegetables, beans or whole grains to make it healthier and less fattening.

7.If you wanted crispy dishes instead of coating your chicken or fish with batter use breadcrumbs. Do not fry them but try to bake them.

8.Choosing sausages, instead of using pork or beef sausages try to use chicken or turkey. They got lesser fat contents.

9.You can use bacon, but instead of using regular bacons try Canadian or turkey bacons.

10.Instead of using egg yolk, use two egg whites for certain dishes and for baking cakes you can use egg substitutes for lesser calorie content.

Now you can lose weight naturally without worrying that your food would be as bland as most diet foods are again.
