How to make diet Asian noodle dish with pork…
Asian noodles are one of the most famous noodles in the world. You can try to eliminate or substitute some ingredients on this dish but watch out for its taste effects on this wonderful Asian delicacy. Also instead of pork, you can use alternative ingredients over it like chicken or vegetarian pork as well.
Ingredients:
2 12 oz shirataki or tofu noodles
1 lb ground pork, or substitute of your own
½ cup soy sauce
¼ cup dry sherry
1/3 cup peanut butter
1 tablespoon rice vinegar or cider vinegar
½ teaspoon Asian chili sauce, or chili sauce of your choice
8 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
2 tablespoons grated ginger, fresh
2 tablespoons sesame oil
1 lb bean sprouts
6 green onions or scallions, finely chopped
Pepper to taste
1-2 tablespoons mild oil such as olive or peanut oil
How to cook:
1.Mix all together ground pork or your substitute, soy sauce and sherry then cover and set aside.
2.Mix the rest of the soy sauce with peanut butter, vinegar and hot sauce with ¼ cup water.
3.Heat the pan or the wok until very hot then add the mild oil of your choice and cook the pork.
4.Prepare the noodles by rinsing it with hot water.
5.Cut the noodles in to small serving size pieces using scissors.
6.Check if the meat is brown and tender.
7.When the meat is cooked, add ginger and garlic and cook until garlic is golden brown.
8.Add the sauce mixture you set aside then toss all together very lightly covering all parts of the noodle but making sure you don’t overdo the noodles
9.Add bean sprouts and sprinkle with green onions or scallions on top.
Now, you can enjoy your great Asian noodle and you don’t have to worry about losing weight effectively!
