There are a lot of great drinks out there and a lot of people who enjoy a lot of their daily calories in the drinks that they choose. This can make it hard to loose weight and can be bad for your health. However, there are low calorie drink options that make a huge difference.

Water.
Water is of course one of the most important drinks. Not only is it completely free of calories it is also really good for you. In fact, water helps your body function at its best and burning fat.

Making Water Work For You.
Many people can’t stand the taste of water, or rather the lack of taste. However you can enjoy it a little more by adding a splash of lemon or lime juice. This will make your water tasty without adding calories.

Flavored Water.
It isn’t a good idea to drink only flavored water. However, every now and again can offer you a great treat and a change from regular water. Just make sure you read the bottle!

Crystal Light.
Crystal light is a powdered drink mix that you add to your water. It is also something you should drink in moderation, but it can make for a good choice when you need something sweet and tasty. They have a great lemonade!

Juice.
While it isn’t a good idea to consume juice of any sort all day long it isn’t a bad idea to have a glass here and there. Choose something that is 100% juice so that it is good for you as well. Just remember to drink in moderation.

Milk.
Milk is another healthy drink you can have. Have a glass or two each day and choose skim milk over other types. This way you are getting a low fat option that is good for you.

Tea and Coffee.
Tea and coffee are naturally low fat drinks. You can have them hot or cold. Just remember to include milk, cream, sugar, or other additives if you are mixing them in.

Light Cocoa.
Light hot chocolate can be a great way to help you solve cravings without getting carried away with your calories. You should only have one small mug a day and not one after another, but it is very tasty and is low in calories.

Diet Soda.
It should be noted that diet soda is one that is often debated. It is true that the diet soda is a low calorie or a calorie free drink, however some studies show that the artificial sweeteners found in soda cause sugar cravings which can often lead to eating unhealthy sugars. Just beware of your cravings and only drink diet soda every now and again.

Drinks can add a lot of calories to your daily calorie intake if you aren’t careful. Most of these are empty calories offering you no nutrition. You will need to identify your high calorie and low calorie drinks to make wise decisions for your future.
