Is exercising in the morning or evening healthier? If you ask me, I’ll say morning. Because exercising in the morning has many benefits. Given below are 10 benefits.

The excuse that everybody says for not being able to do consistent exercising is lack of time. For that reason, getting up in the morning to exercise will help you maintain a regular routine. Evening exercise might not work out. You might be mentally and physically worn out by the end of the day, or something unexpected might prop up. You will not be able to maintain a consistency in exercising like in the morning. If you are giving priority to exercising, them morning is the best, so get into action as soon as you get up.
2. Best time to go to the gym:
If you are going to the gym, morning is the right time. There will not be much crowd in the morning and the equipments will be available for you to use. You can spend a long time on the machine. By evening, there will be more people and either you have to wait for exercising equipment, or there will be somebody to take it away from you the moment you step down, even to drink water.

Getting up in the morning to exercise wakes your body and mind. It starts your metabolism, after resting in the night. Your metabolism is high for many hours, even up to 24 hours. Just because you have exercised in the morning, your body will be burning calories the whole day. So if your job involves being seated the whole day, exercising in the morning is the best.

Exercises increase the energy level in your body. They help you to be active and energetic throughout the day. The normal mid afternoon drag which everybody experiences, will disappear if you exercise in the morning. You can avoid afternoon naps and you won’t feel exhausted by evening. You will be able to work more efficiently. The brain will be active up to ten hours after an exercise, so that instead of being fatigued, you will be fresh even by the end of the day.

Exercising in the morning makes you feel good and clears your mind. Physical activity triggers happy chemicals in your brain, which helps to reduce stress and tensions and gives you a feeling of contentment. It boosts your mood, increases your mental alertness and also reduces depression.

Exercising in the morning has a tendency to regulate your appetite throughout the day. It makes you eat less food, and avoid over snacking.
