We live in the fast lane. We want things now and we want them fast. We eat this way as well and it often causes issues with out bodies. Not only does it make it harder to lose weight this way it also makes it harder for us to tell when we are full. Eat slower and you will be able to eat less.

Chew With Purpose.
You should aim for chewing your food more carefully. Chew each bite carefully and you will digest better and you will also know when you are full faster.

Portion Control.
A lot of our portions are out of control. We like it super sized. More is better. However, more is also more calories, more fat, and not necessary. Watch how much you are eating. This is especially true when having treats. Have small portions of ice cream, popcorn, or other yummy snacks.

Watch What You Drink.
Water will make you feel fuller faster. Plus you should always choose low-calorie drink options. Coffee, tea, and water with a splash of juice are good options for more flavor then water has to offer.

Eat Breakfast.
Breakfast is very important. It makes your body burn calories as it should. It lessens the number of calories you will consume in a day. You are less likely to grab unhealthy snacks and you are less likely to over eat at lunch and dinner.

Eat Often.
Some people think that the key to weight loss is actually eating less. But usually it works out the other way around, especially if you are eating healthier foods. Additionally, if you eat more often you will eat less food. Eating six small meals or three medium sized meals and three large snacks is ideal.

Eat a Balanced Diet.
What you should eat and what you shouldn’t eat is often argued. But the fact of the matter is that you should eat a balanced diet. You should eat foods from all food groups and many of these foods will help you live a healthier and better life.

Include the Dreaded Fruits and Vegetables.
It seems that getting most of us adults to eat our veggies is almost as hard as it was when we were a kid. You need to eat a variety of fruits and vegetables each day. This will help you feel fuller, help you digest better, and will also provide you with vitamins, water, and other necessary nutrients.

With lots of great health eating tips you can change your habits a little at a time and it will help you lose weight. Every little bit counts so consider not only what you put in your mouth, but also how you put it there.
