As another tactic, you can do strength training exercises in order to speed up your metabolism. The reason for this stems from the fact that muscles will burn more calories then normal body tissue. Thus, by increasing the musculature in your body, you can be sure that your body burns more calories even when it is resting or doing its daily activities. Thus, by incorporating these tactics, you ca be sure that your metabolic speed remains high and that you continue to lose calories.
